The Perfect Format Cheat Sheet:

In order for your custom Joomla website's design to be consistent throughout your web pages, all ways format your Joomla articles in the JCE editor extension using this work sheet: 

1. Copy content and click Paste as Plain Text  icon  in the editor. 

2. Highlight ALL text and go up to the "Format" drop down menu and select: Paragraph.

3. Then individually select headlines and subheads and use the "Format" drop-down menu   to select:

• Heading 1 for THE most important headline. This should not be used more than once per article. 
• Heading 2 for subheads.
• Heading 3 is for sub-subheads.

3. Everything else should be a paragraph. If you want a paragraph to be more important to another paragraph, select text and hit the bold or italic button to give emphasis to paragraphs or in-line content.

Formatting a List in Joomla's JCE editor

If you have a list of items with a bullet: Select list of items and click unordered list icon. This will indent and put a bullet before every list item. 

 If you have a list of items with numbers: select list of items and click order list icon.
