Jewish Family Service of Rhode Island Joomla Site
I have built the first iteration of the Jewish Family Service of Rhode Island Joomla site. This site features Superfish drop down menus and custom forms built with RSForms. Launch date is estimated for early Summer 2011.
Joshua CJG Robinson
Artist Joshua CJG Robinson designed look and feel of his site and I worked on the typography and developed it into a dynamic Wordpress site. Launched May 2011.
Melissa Dunn
Joomla CMS upgrade project for artist Melissa Dunn. Melissa wanted to keep the design of her original site by the artist/ designer Anna Rea Palmer, but to upgrade to a fully functional CMS for control of her content. This Joomla site uses the superb galley extension Ignite Gallery by Matt Thomson. Launched May 2011.
WordPress
Wordpress project for a Naples Real Estate Property. A Wordpress website package which includes design of custom header, background and other style sheet elements with the addition of the NexGEN Gallery. Launched in March 2011.
To add an image to the GEN Gallery in Wordpress:
Open Dashboard
Scroll down to find
Gallery and click on it to access the
drop-down menu.
Click on Add Gallery/Images.
In the Upload image input, click Browse.
Navigate to your new image.
Use the drop down to menu select which gallery you want this image to appear.
Click Upload.
To edit the title of the image for the slides show
Click Manage Gallery
You will see your new image at the top of the list.
Change the Alt & Title Text / Description to an appropriate name.
Click Save Changes.
To Sort Gallery
Click button Sort gallery.
Drag and drop the new image to where you want it to appear.
Remember to click Update Sort Order to save the order.
And then click Back to Gallery (far right button) to see the new order.
Click Save Changes.
To Delete images for the slides show
Mouse over thumbnail, and a menu appears and click Delete.
Twenty Ten WordPress Theme
Changing the header image in Twenty Twelve WordPress Theme:
Go to the Back End Wordpress Dashboard:
Click Appearance
Click Header
Click Browse for image and upload
You will be able to crop inside Wordpress
How to delete the side bar in Twenty ten Template:
Click Wordpress Dashboard
Click Pages
Click Edit
Look to the far Left and Find Page Attributes
Find Template and Change drop down menu to One column, no sidebar
To Upload big Audio in to WordPress
I. Upload files to your sites FileManager
Go to host site, login and go to filemanager:
Inside file manager, inside your root folder click on the wordpress folder
Find and Click on uploadaudio folder
Once inside uploadaudio folder click upload button
Browse to your file on your desktop and find your file on the desktop
then click upload. When you hit the refresh button, you should see your file. But if you don’t, it might take a little time, so don’t worry.
